The Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers’ Cooperative Society Ltd., (APCO) APEX Society was formed with the merger of three regional societies i.e., Hyco Fabrics, Raya Fabrics and Andhra Handlooms in the year 1976 with the main objective of providing Marketing support to the Handloom Products produced by the Primary Societies in the State.
As a result of bifurcation of A.P. State in 2014 and formation of the Telangana as per the AP Re-Organization, Act 2014, the Telangana Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd., (TSCO) was formed with the motto to market the Handloom Varieties being woven by the Weaver member of Primary Weavers Cooperative Societies in the Telangana for their upliftment with the kind cooperation and support of both the State and Central Governments.
